IMHO, battery prices depend on where you live and the demand for batteries. Just to provide a gauge in Middle Georgia a CR220 goes for about $120 from a local golf cart shop

Not sure where you are in FL but here in SE FL I called around today because I will be buying a new set and I got prices of $119-128 on Trojan T-105 and one dealer tried to persuade me to go with US2200 at $110 each plus 3.5% if I used a credit card (illegal to do so in FL).

Thanks I have had some sellers mention that fee for CC. I didn't know it was a no no.

My understanding is that they can’t charge you extra an extra fee but they can give you a cash discount. But don’t quote me.

I will give a discount if payment is made with Chick-fil-A coupons.
CASH money always demands a discount, no matter the business

Just out of curiosity since I’m also buying a new set this week, what’s steering you to crown and US over Trojan?

The dealer I got my used cart from suggested Rural King - I got 2 year warranty - 1 year complete replacement for maybe $80 per. They we're the least expensive I could find but don't know if they are better than the trojans.
