Default Alltrax throttle issues

Finally got my Alltrax installed (2016 Precedent with stock motor). Cart now has some good torque and my top speed is 27 mph. The issue I'm having is with a jerking throttle at about half pedal. Speed limit in my neighborhood is 18 and with the new controller, I'm doing a lot more part throttle cruising. It feels like when I'm cruising the the throttle cuts out. I think it's fine and actually my foot movement on the pedal creating this action. I've backed the throttle rate of to 10% but it's still a jerky ride. Perhaps there is too much regen at high speed?

Try switching from street to turf.
Reset throttle rate to 20-25
Decrease max armature regen from 60-30
See how that feels.

Thanks Scotty. How do the other settings look?

That didn't do much. If anyone cares to share the throttle/controller settings they have for an Alltrax with a CC Precedent (stock motor), it would be much appreciated.

I attached my monitor file. I did 4 slow depresses of the accelerator to the floor and back. Doesn't seem very fluid. I tested with cart in neutral in my garage

I am thinking you may have an issue with your MCOR or more so the Speed sensor. I do not see the jerking in your attachment.

OK. Is there a way to test? It ran perfect until I installed the Alltrax.

Does the cart behave the same at full throttle? If it does then it is not speed sensor related.

If You are often trying to drive at the 18mph speed limit, You could set one of the modes with a max RPM of 4,500rpm so You can run at full throttle.

Set one of the other modes to a higher RPM for maximum speed.

You can use a regular SPDT switch to switch all three modes.

At full throttle, the cart is just full on fun, no issues. This only happens at the first 60% of throttle then clears up

I used to have the same problem except I would call it surging instead of jerking. The first thing I would try is the auto throttle cal. It's in one of the pull down menus. Click clear auto cal and work the throttle 2 or 3 times. If that doesn't work like you want it there is another calibration called "Absolute Throttle" Alltrax calls it a precision calibration. You have to select it in the tools menu. When you do it will place a absolute throttle selection on the toolbar. Click it and follow the instructions. It's all self explanatory. The only problem you may run into is with one of the selections you need to select 0-5k throttle instead of 5k-0. You will know if you got it wrong if it tries to take off at full throttle. Which is also why they recommend putting the rear wheels up on blocks. I've been using it for years and it works great. PS do all calibrations with the direction selector in neutral.
