Sounds like the OBC lockout is bad. Either replace or bypass. Check the sticky thread on it.

On the stickies you will also find out how to reset the OBC. Try that first before buying new OBC or replacing the charger. I would go for a new charger and omit the OBC if it turns out bad. They are not cheap, almost as much as a charger.

Ok,I read about bypassing the obc, buying another charger,
but doesn't the light blue wire going into controller need power for cart to run? That is my problem, cart does not run... |

To bypass permanently, you cut the white and blue wires on the controller side, and tie them together. That loops the power back to the controller. Did you try the reset first?

To answer your original question, yes you can run a jumper from pack positive to pin 5 on the controller to see if the cart will run..The controller has to see 48v+ on that pin..If the cart runs you can bypass just the lockout feature as mgray70 stated..The obc should still control the charging of the cart, you just won't have the lockout when the charger is plugged in...

You still haven't posted whether you have proven that the OBC is bad. When it goes into lockdown, it won't charge and the blue wire is dead. Here is link
