Default Axle snap ring

Okay guys I have an 09 club car precedent. I have been searching for the snap ring all afternoon and I do not see it. Could it just not be there? Does anybody have a picture not a diagram of where it really should be. I have takin it all apart and do not see it. Any help is appreciated!

if its like the older ones its behind the brake shoes inside the axle tube.
It retains the bearing

yours may or may not have a hole in the axle flange.

look thru the hole in one pictured and see the ears of snap ring and the 2 holes the snap ring pliers go in to release it. You will need special 90* pliers like the ones on floor of pic.
The KDs are the stamped metal ones and are too cheap and flimsy, use the better heavy duty ones shown on left.

I will take pictures today and post them so you can see what I’m working with. I have searched high and low for that snap ring I don’t see it.

you dont have a snap ring on that model
the axle and bearing is retained by the plate with 4 bolts that you have already removed.
if you dont have the proper slide hammer with the adapter that goes on axle studs then use the old timers trick and put the brake drum on backwards, screw the lugnuts on backwards for at least 3 threads and use the brake drum as a slide hammer.
It should pop out and get stinky rear end lube all over everything(put the axle on an incline to keep lube from coming out.
