Default EZ Go electric 1996 repair manual

Does anyone have a copy of the 1996 service and repair manual? I have an electric cart that will not go in reverse. the F/R micro switch is new and operating properly. I need to know the electric flow from where it goes after the F/R lever. Need to determine if it is a faulty controller or motor

IN a 96 series cart .....
power goes to the micro and then
to the key switch then
to the peddle box micro then
to solenoid activation then
to the controller
I believe this diagram is in the stickies at the top of this section?

Thanks. Have you heard of this problem in the past, where it goes forward but not reverse? Infact, when i move the selector to reverse, it makes a bucking feel, like it can not muster enough electricity to moves back. what tends to be the culprit in this scenario?

Thank you. it gives me a place to start. Mine is a DCS system. would that be significantly different from the non-DCS schematic you attached?

what did it turn out to be for you that was faulty? my micro switch is good, and i suspect it is the controller. but do not know what the controllers role is in this system as well as the solenoid. could it be one of those two items?

My problem was different in that the cart would not move at all (see dcs beeps constantly)
I am new to this forum and by no means an expert but I would not think the Solenoid is the problem because it does the same job in forward or reverse, the only difference I see is the wire from reverse switch to controler (orange wire from reverse sw to pin 4) and the operation of the controller itself there is a short (jumper wire) between the common terminals of the microswitches

a couple of questions

does sol. click in reverse
does reverse beeper beep (if it beeps the controller is at least trying to reverse

thanks for the reply. actually my horn is disconnected, so i am not sure about the audible, but the cart attempts to back up but can not. it used to be an intermittent issue, but now a constant. you can hear the solenoid click, so perhaps it is not the solenoid as it may be operating. could it be that the controller can not reverse because of an internal failure? i am trying to understand the role the controller has in this function.

I looks to me as if the controller reverses the fields (f1-f2) to go into reverse

maybe someone could tell us the answer to this and also the purpose of the yellow wire from the solenoid to pin 6 of the controller

have you checked th orange wire at the controller?
