Ask the seller for a strand count and a jacket designation?

Re: Any opinions on these wires?
I'm not sure of the quality, but one thing I do know is that when I called Alltrax and asked them some questions about the plug braking option on their 4844 controller for my 94.5 series cart, they referred me to EV Drives website to purchase the controller. I have not purchased anything from them, but I would assume that Alltrax has some faith in them since they recommended me to go there.
I also asked questions about the need for a solenoid and they told me to purchase an MZJ-200. It is a chinese made solenoid that was meant for the forklift industry. The guy at Alltrax said that the owner (I assume the Alltrax owner) has had one installed on a cart with a 600 amp controller and it has yet to give him problems. The guy at alltrax said to buy the solenoind at EV Drives for $43. To make a long story even longer, I haven't purchased anything yet but it seems that Alltrax may have some faith in this company, but that doesn't mean the wires are of good quality!! You buy some and then let us know how it works out!! |

Re: Any opinions on these wires?
i might do that! i have sent the seller the question on ebay, we'll see what his answer is. they do have an "alltrax recommended wire gauge" chart on their site. that price is hard to beat, especially with free shipping!
