Re: Altrax
I have seen people cut the original cover down to fit over the top of the controller but truthfully the resin filled Alltrax can take buckets of water compared to the open air design of the Ezgo controller ......

Re: Altrax
Yep, especially on a pds cart where you need to keep that run/tow switch dry........
But ....... I think if you asked Alltrax they would prefer their controller was not covered so that it could dissipate heat better ..... Just a though??? What do you guys think? |

Re: Altrax
the cover is a heat dome. I left mine off and relocated the tow/run switch. I also left it unlabeled with tow to the rear and run to the front. I might try to post a pic later.

Re: Altrax
Here's what I did with mine. I couldn't do like Mark since my solenoid was, either larger, or Mark's solenoid is mounted somewhere else. I tried to cut a smaller amount off of mine, but it still wouldn't fit. I move the tow/run switch to the top and cut away.
Here it is. DSC05464.jpg DSC05466.jpg DSC05471.jpg |

Re: Altrax
I also sprayed my controller and solenoid terminals with the battery post protector.
