5+2 offset rims
I am putting a high 5" lift on my cart. It is a 1995 medalist. The lift is supposed to move the front axle forward 3" and clear 27" tires. Will a rim with A 5+2 offset allow 25"x8" tire to clear properly while turning? Does anyone on here run 5+2 offset wheels? Are 25" tires to big for my cart? I a 480 Logisystems controller, 2ga cables throughout, hd sol and F/R, and 48v with stock series motor. Would it be better to go with 23" for now until I can upgrade motor? I planned on running 25x10 on rear and 25x8 on the front.
