Default 3-Way ignition switch for lights - is this the way to go?

So -- I just got my 3 way switch from EZ-GO and I want to wire in my lights -- I DID do a search and just want to make sure this is the way to go.... here's the link...

http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...g-diagram.html

I don't see me using the lights a lot, so for now I'd like to wire them directly into the batteries -- eventually I'll go with a voltage reducer and add a fuse panel....

Man - these carts are addictive! are they ever "done"...???

Def put in a fuse and I always use a relay for the lights. Switch can probably handle it but I would rather change the $5 relay that is under the seat than the $25 switch in the dash.

My 2 cents

You can still wire it to your batteries, just take the main wire going to the lights from the batts and hook it to your key switch, this will allow for you to turn your lights on/off. Make sure you use your dvom to make sure all is good before turning your lights on.

Hi, I could use some help with this also.

Do the B1 and the L pins on the key switch only output 12 volts for the lights?

The I pin acts as the "on" for the SOC meter?

The SOC meter is only really running at 12 volts even thaough it is for a 36 v system?

Where do the yellow and yellow / white sires go to ?
