Default Yet another battery question!

I have a 2006 PDS that is used strictly for playing golf, and is used about twice a week. It may be time to replace the batteries soon. My question is not which brand to buy, as has been hashed about quite frequently, but about capacity.

I can get a US Battery 1800XC for around $77 per battery, or a US Battery 2200XC for around $90 per battery. The 2200 weighs 7 pounds more and has greater specs than the 1800 all around.

Given that the cart is used strictly on the golf course about twice a week on average, would it be worth the extra $13 per battery, or could I expect the 1800 to do the job. I currently have Trojan T105's, and have not maintained them as I should, hence the reason I may need to replace them!

Thought about Sam's Club or Costco, but the Costco price is about the same as the 1800XC price I got, and I certainly would go US Battery over Costco. I am just wondering if the 1800XC would do the job of getting me around the course just as good as the 2200XC.

Thanks in advance.

Bob

how many mile do you think you run the cart when you use it for the day, this will help to answer your question better

I don't have a clue on miles. I usually play 18 holes on Saturday, and 18 holes on Sunday, and during the summer months will play 9 holes on Wednesday evenings, and that is about the usage it will get all year long.

It is about 3 miles around the course if I keep it in the fairway and don't have to drive all over the course looking for the ball!

Maximum run time would go to the US XC2200's but you may not need that.
The specs are as follows:
Trojan T-105 - 225 Amp Hours - 447 mins @ 25 amps
US Battery XC1800 - 208 Amp Hours - 392 mins @ 25 amps
US Battery XC2200 - 232 Amp Hours - 474 mins @ 25 amps
Sam's Energizer GC-2 - 225 Amp Hours - 447 mins @ 25 amps
The free replacement warranty on US Battery and Sam's is 1 year.

I would say that the 1800's would be fine for golf but for only $7 a battery ($42) I would get the better 2200's.
A round is usually in the 5 mile range so you should be able to get at least 2 rounds plus quite a bit of additional driving on the cheaper ones.
