Default motor coupling ?

i have an electric ezgo cart ,i here the motor run but cart will not move
the cart is old but i do not know the year
any thoughts ?

thank you
i will pull off the wheels
i was having brake problems
my son took it in to the woods and pulled / snagged the
brake cables.
but is does not sound like the axels are spinning,just the motor

Here's a test to see if the hub is striped,----try this before you take it apart

-- you need to be able to see the nut that is holding the brake drum on the axle, if it has a cover over it remove the wheel or cap what ever it takes to see the nut, put it on jack stands if you have to,MAKE SURE the cart can NOT MOVE / run over something, and have some one sit in the cart and put there foot on the brake TIGHT so the cart wont move,
then have some one look at the nut that is holding the hub on, push on the go pedal EASY and see if the nut is spinning and not the hub, check both sides, if the nut is spinning the hub is striped out and you need a new one .
