My G8 Sparky Friends
Hey guys my Lestronic 2 36 volt charger gave out on me. Any of my G8 Sparky buddies either have an extra charger for sale or have and idea where I can get one without paying 450 bucks for it

Re: My G8 Sparky Friends
Larry, maybe you can just fix your's. Firts you must have at least 33 (I think) volts in the battery set for the charger to even think it's plugged into a cart. Do you hear the relay "click" when you plug it in ? Is the fuse (round plastic covered part, with 3 legs, like a triangle) burnt/one leg melted? Could be the timer board? The only time I don't fix em, is if the transformer is bad (the copper windings would be very dark brown or black). Lets see if it can be fixed first. Let us know.

Re: My G8 Sparky Friends
Thanks Smallblock. I jumped the relay and the charger hums but the amp meter doesn't move at all. The fuse looks fine. I am not sure if the charger will hum if the capacitor is bad or not. I charged the batteries with my shop 12 volt charger 2 at a time so I know they are full.
