You'll have to make a new wire for the B- because the current one runs through the OBC. You'll also have to make a new negative charge wire from the receptacle to the battery. Photo attached of the bypass harness I'm referring to.
This might be a stupid question (so please forgive me), but if I installed an Alltrax controller and only have one solenoid now (got rid of regen solenoid)...will these directions still work? Again, sorry if this is a bit naive.

These instructions are for the IQ system. If you had two solenoids you don't have the IQ system.

Oh no...just about finished doing this to my cart. I have the regen 2 cart with the regen solenoid removed (per Alltrax controllers directions). So I am not suppossed to cut the wires and loop the red and blue wires? Do you have directions for a 1999 CC DS powerdrive regen 2? Without the regen solenoid?

Just as a side note...the alltrax controller is an IQ controller programmed for a powerdrive cart...if that helps.

Also, if this is the correct way to do this, there is also a grey wire from the charging receptacle that has a fuse on on. This goes into the fuse of the red wire going to the OBC that I removed. What do i do with that wire?

Just bought my first E Cart and its a 2005 CC DS IQ with GE Motor.

Since I am so new to E Carts I do not understand why I would WANT to do this since I would have to replace the charger. Is the charger that comes with the CC a POS or something?

Also, it may be because I am a newb, but I think I actually would like to be able to see the power usage of the cart between charges in order to gauge the life status of my batteries when I compare it to the run time that I am getting?!?!?

I fly Electric RC Helicopters and Multicopters frequently and I always get that information from my Lipo chargers which helps me gauge my flight time expectations. That's why I think I would want that info for my cart as well.

Does your charger not currently work?
Like these guys said, for an individual cart owner, there is really no need to have one of these devices...

No. It works. But if I cut the obc out. I take it my charger will be useless.

Yes, that is true, it won't work without an OBC.
