What cart to get, what to look for
I'm thinking of selling my gaser and getting an electric. What should I look for I want to be able to drive it like I do the gas one, although I know my range will be significantly less lol. I would like a lift and a rear seat as well mostly flat ground either trails or just on the street

Re: What cart to get, what to look for
I'd look for any 48v cart, either DS or Precedent. I like the simplicity & styling of the DS. The vintage doesn't matter much if your going to upgrade the controller & motor, just find a nice clean one to start with.

I would look for an Ezgo PDS.
A $5 speed chip will get you 19mph A $499 controller upgrade will get you 35% more torque and 24 mph. |

Re: What cart to get, what to look for
The Club Car IQ carts are great in my opinion. Bone stock with $100 speed code 4 gets you 19.6 mph. That is plenty fast, and they pull hills pretty good too.
When I bought my cart, it already had code 4 installed... |
