Default G29 stalling??

Hello all!
-i have a 09 drive electric with less than year old Trojan 6-8v batteries. For about 10 months I have been cruising the neighborhood trouble free with the newer altrax 300 controller, but today I encountered an issue.
-While driving I tried to accelerate and nothing was there. I just chalked it up to the batteries needing charge, although i thought something wasn't right. So I charged them and gave it a spin and it seemed to be riding good and then all the sudden no power again. I mean the cart will still move but it's almost like a vehicle that can't catch the gear. So I depress the peddle for a second and it is running back to normal again. Note the cart has always seemed to surge a tad, but nothing troubling, just while accelerating.

Any advice is appreciated!

The XCT has diagnostics codes. You can either count the flashes on the status light, or hook it up to the laptop and pull the diag codes next time it happens. If the problem is bad enough that you can reproduce it, throw that baby on blocks with the controller wired up to the laptop and run realtime monitoring. The Alltrax will tell you if it's under voltage or encountering an error. If the controller totally checks out, perhaps you have a failing motor issue?
