Default What car battery charger to revive dead batteries

I have a G19 and after watching some videos to bring back drained batteries they say to charge the batteries individually with a car battery charger. I have 6- 8 volt batteries, I'm going to buy a car charger (I have a Harbor Freight one that sucks) so I want to get one that would work good for this use.
Thanks appreciate any input.

You should look for a 12v charger with a 2 amp option. 8 volt batteries can be slowly recharged with this option but not for long periods of time and both voltage and temperature should be monitored.

A better option would be to jump the relay in your OEM charger so it comes on and then after 20-30 minutes remove the jumper and let the charger work as it would normally.

Thanks for sharing that knowledge, though I have heard about jumping the relay but I'm not sure which wires need to be jumped. I guess I could google that next to get a clear understanding of it.

Remove the cover and post a pic of the relay. (no close ups!)
See example

Another way is to use a set of jumper cables and jump from one cart's 48v batteries to the dead cart. Plug in the charger and it will sense the full voltage because of the jumper cables and start the charger. After 10-15 minutes of charging both sets, lift one jumper cable from the good cart first and see if the charger stays on. If so, remove the jumper cables. If not, reconnect for a while until the charger stays on with out the cables. Charger will continue thru a full cycle. I revived a full 48v pack from a 6 - 8v batts reading a total of 18v before I started with this method. I could jump out the relay, but this is easier for me.
Good luck

Hey - that's a great idea if you have access to another cart. Nothing to do and undo, sweet
