Default 90 CC Cam install

I am replacing the cam in a 90 cc. I am confused about installing the cam. I know I line up the dots on the crank and cam gears. That will set the toiming of the valves. Do I need to consider the timing of the ignition? The crank gear lines up in two places each 180 degrees apart.
