Default Tach.....

well i put a tach in my cart this weekend and had a couple questions about it..... ive got a fe350....first the cart idles (cause ive got the ground unpluged on the microswitch and the 200rpm spring in the machined front clutch) at about 1k rpms... is this correct? Also, the 200rpm spring acctually(according to the tach) does not engage untill close to 2k rpms...? is this also true? But the thing that makes me believe the tach is correct is that it does read 3300rpms right as the limiter kicks in... I just want to make sure that the tach is accurate.... thanks in advance for any input....

maybe a little high, but the spring tenshion could be wrong... or maybe a worn belt...

how does the cart idle? i had to buy a relay and follow some instructions with the power spring to get it to idle.
