Did you have the starter/generator checked when it went out?
What is going out on them?

I may be wrong, but I believe that the voltage regulator regulates the voltage created from the starter / generator charges the battery. Tge starter / generator creats it's own voltage. I think you have something other than a regulator issue.

That's correct. V starts at the generator and is then regulated.
Does the cart start easily? Belt too tight?

That's why I was asking what was actually wrong with the S/G.
VR isn't likely a culprit.

I'll see if I can't find a diagram or something. The foot pedal switch energizes the starter w12 VDC. Let's see what is there. I don't know a lot about CC's. But, I can learn quick..

I'll be a little $##*. That's about the only component that could do it.The only other things there are a solenioid, microswitches and a fuse box.
Let's see if someone else knows about the solenoid and regulator connections. I'll keep studying.
A V regulator and solenoid are a LOT cheaper than a starter.
The regulator is $45.00! Must be gold plated....
