3600 rpm's, final gear ratio 6, 18" tires = 32.1 mph
You could bring the RPM's up alittle (4000 rpm's) to get you a bit more speed, but, IMO... your doing pretty well! (I'm jealous! ) |

I am putting a tach in my club car and I believe it is a 2cylinder but need to make sure. Could someone help. Plus on a 4 cylinder tach I would decide the RPM by 2 right? Or is it multiply by 2? Thank you.

Installing? or using a tach?
2 cylinder? or 2 cycle? Most Tachometers measure Rotations Per Minute with just 1 cylinder, no matter how many cylinders the engine has! (although... 2 cycle and 4 cycle engines are two completely different animals) I used an old car tach (8 cyl's) to set mine, it worked just fine! (without having to do any calculating!) for some reason... I can bet I'm missing something again! |
