Question clutch machining

someone give me more input,will it give a 91cc more lowend?

Getting the "Driven" (rear) clutch machined will give you more low end (torque)

Getting the "Drive" clutch (front) machined will give you more high end (top speed)

Of coarse, depending on which engine you have! (flathead or OHV)

So how does machining the clutch give you more torque? I've heard this helps just not sure how.

I'm assuming they are changing the Bevel slightly to keep the belt lower in the housing.
There is also a spring kit which will give you more low end
