ive had the rev limiter disconnected since i bought it, and its always ran fine till now.

what year is your cart? i have a good rev limitter, and igniter if that's what you need. i'll make you a good deal. they can be shipped anywhere in the u.s. for under $14.00. hopefully it's something easy like a blocked vac line or a dropped ground line. good luck keap us updated so we can learn along with you.

if it were a dropped ground line it wouldnt even attempt to turn over then would it? the vac line is fine that was the first thing i checked.

some times it's the simple things that get you. glad you found it. replacing a ground is a cheap fix.

just for future reference, you can change the coil on the older fe 290 to the newer coil and ditch the ignitor and it will work fine with less issues.....i learned that from my local mechanic.
