fuel pump
I just added a fuel filter to the gas line,didnt have one and now it starts and idols but thats it.I lifted the seat and stepped on the gas pedal and there is no fuel going into the fuel filter.would this be a pump problem

Do you have the fuel filter going the right way? They are directional.

yes,the arrow is facing the carb.Would a low battery have anything to do with it

Make sure you have a tight seal around the fuel filter. If there is a air leak, it can prevent the fuel from pumping.
