Default Re: 07 yamaha umax 48 volt electric won't engage

I have a 26 month old 2007 factory rebuild Yamaha YDRE with 4 x Trojan T-1275 batteries. Lately the cart has not engaged from a dead stop. It usually clears immediately or after several cycles of the Tow switch or just sitting for a while. Once it gets going it runs solid and strong. Today I had the batteries load tested and all looks ok there. I'm hearing local tails that the controller is finicky and maybe not matched well to the motor. So, I'm interested to see what is going on out there as I'm afraid the dealer will first walk me through a new set of batteries ($800 - $1000 installed) and I'll end up at the same place. Just getting into this I'll stay tuned and post as I progress.
