Default Charger says incomplete charge cycle for G22

Just purchased a G22E with Exide batteries that are from 2008 cart is a 2006 48 volt. Took a reading for all batteries when I purchased cart they were reading 8.02 to a low of 7.6, plugged factory yamaha charger in and it went through its indicating cycle with the lights and then showed it was charging. Couple of hours later I had the Incomplete Charge Cycle light on. Is there a fault some where or is this normal operration if the batteries are fairly charged?

Any advice will be appreciated, and sorry for asking such a newbie question just want to figure this out fairly quickly in case I need to go back and see the person that sold it to me.

Incomplete Charge = A fault was detected in the charge cycle and the charger stop it's charging process. So there is something wrong somewhere, either with batteries, charger or something.

That one battery that read 7.6V may be toast. You can charge an 8V battery with a 12V automotive charger, but - - - make sure it is set on the lowest setting and stand right there with the battery when you do it! Let it charge 10min and then let the battery sit a few minutes and see what voltage you have. If the voltage will at least come up to 8V, the battery may be saveable. Here's a chart for specific gravity and voltage. These readings are for batteries that have been off the charger for several hours.

Thanks for the response and help, bought new batteries DEKA for $654 installed that resulted in battery charger going correct charge process. Going through the break in process of the batteries as spelled out on some other threads.
Next project installation of lights and voltage reducer.

Lift kit on order and should be here later in week
