Default 2006 Yamaha G22e before, after and the future

Came back from working on the road this week to be met with my new paint job. I took my cart to a great shop in my area (wwwcartbarn.com) to install my new 8:1 gears. I had the body removed and taken to a local body shop. I think they did a great job.

I'm waiting to throw my new 8" Divot custom wheels on it this week. The stock roof/canopy supports were powder coated this week and I'll throw them on this week, too. I'm going to paint the roof a matte black finish next weekend, install the headlight/taillight kit, iPhone amp/speakers system and customize dash. Dang......this is fun!

Now the white seat covers look stupid, don't they. Shoot, wife said it would look better with black/blue covers. Thoughts on doing this myself or using a sponsor for front seat/seat back covers?

Well, didn't get to painting the canopy this weekend, but I did complete my wiring, voltage reducer, Poly-Planar 2-speaker/1subwoofer mp3 system install, LED headlight/tailights, and installed a brand new dash I found on E-bay.

New wheels from Colorado Components (don't laugh - they are stock 8" so I didn't have to buy new tires.)

New 8:1 ratio gears installed.

New battery meter installed.

New black seat covers came today, so I'll hit the canopy and seats next weekend.

Thanks to all on this forum who educate rookies like myself. You are a terrific, knowledgeable bunch.

Side look with new wheels, light kit and black diamond plate rocker panels and kick plate. Had a local shop powder coat my canopy supports black. Local body shop painted front cowl and rear body mold for me.

Cosmetic finishes completed today;
-installed new black vinyl seat covers
-painted roof a matte black finish

The canopy/roof turned out awesome..............so far.

I did everything to this cart by reading and reading all of the posts related to my projects in the BGW forum.

Thanks to everyone!!!!

Dave in VA,

I ordered the seats as you suggested and they really made a difference. I believe my invoice cost was somewhere around $62 and they installed terrific using a pneumatic stapler. The fit, durability of material and quality is outstanding. They aren't "xt innovations", but for my current budget, they are perfect.

(Next seats will be XT Innovations)

Thanks again for the tip, Dave in VA!
