Not much to look at, and is slow as hell. But picked up the cart for $25! Needed the rear driven clutch replaced and the airbox worked on. I live in one of those small towns that allow carts on the streets and it's pretty flat so planning on going lower.

Homemade shorty windscreen
Cut and lowered the seat backs
got a decent looking wheelset (wheels sure help polish a turd)

Not sure if I'm going to paint it or just let it be.

SO this may be the perfect place to ask. Found a treasure on craigslist haven't punched the ticket yet. I am currently have a G21 Gas. But i found a G2 with a club car body on it that is basically just a rolling frame. It is electric but i know nothing is impossible! what would be the hurdles going from electric to gas and would it be better just to look for a gas. I really like body lines of the G2, the I am only considering this because an electric isn't terrible and i am thinking of doing a low boy cruiser. Thoughts???

To go from electric to gas you'd have too first build a swing arm that would fit in the cart. From the looks of electric the frame isn't really set up for the swing arm as the battery tray takes up much of the area where it fits.

There would be a lot of fab work to change it over. Not impossible but definitely a lot of work. If your not comfortable doing the fab work then I'd keep looking for a gas cart too build.

Well finally got mine put back together today. The comet clutch is going to take some getting use to. Now just figuring out what kind of lift and what wheels and tires to use.

When you get the big tires on, you will appreciate the comet clutch.
