Electric Cart Batteries
I am working on a bunch of 2015 RXV's with 600-700 hours on the batteries. They came with US 12V XC's and read on the battery 155 AH(20 hour max) 77 mins of discharge @ 75 amps, and 443 mins of discharge @ 25 amps. What do these numbers mean? (confused) Did US change those numbers or the battery quality over the years? I think I remember getting better DC times with our first fleet(08's I believe).
I am using a Lester 48 volt discharge machine and I have run times anywhere from 20 to 60 minutes. I've made a few of them better by pairing similar voltage batteries but not a miracle worker.... We plan on buying several sets of new batteries this season. How does one compare US vs Trojan vs Harris etc? We want the best battery for the price. Our US or Crown price is $175 apiece. We may replace 100 - 200 batteries...my back hurts already! Thanks for any input, love the forums! Free golf in Northern Ohio for the helpers |
