Default Ignition switch wiring

I have a 93 gas cart that had a bad switch...purchased a new switch but can not find a good view of the switch wiring....it is a two position 4 pole switch. it is marked on the back with a 1 and 2 and M+ and M- terminal...I really need to know what wires go where.....I am pretty sure that I have the 1 and 2 positions correct but need to know where the M+ and M- terminal go... I really wish I had marked them before my buddy started helping and got ahead of me...thanks for any help you can give...

Welcome Mick, go in the stickies at the the top of this section and you will find diagrams that will help you wire it. Use a volt ohm meter to figure out the posts functions, NO, OC, Momantary and you will get er done.

No problem Mickster!

If you have any other situations, feel free to ask,

BUT...

There is a "Search" tab in the second blue bar, on the right hand side, just below "Welcome mickster9"
There's tons of info there! (including that switch diagram)

How about a diagram for a five terminal for a 1997?
LOCKMAN1, I used your diagram with a 4 terminal switch and still no start.

Actually... there IS a 5 pole CC gas key switch! It's for a "key start" cart!

So Smokin' corn... from now on, try to remember to mention that in pretty much every post!
only because, most here have "pedal start" carts... and most aren't familiar with key start carts!
