Best *no cost* speed modifications?
i wany to modify enough to get somewhere closer to the mid 20mph range. i have a FG series 2001 Clubcar Carryall 1, totally stock...
i am wondering what the best things i can do would be? i already will be putting in a k&n filter, but am looking for anything and every little bit of speed i can.... |

Move to the top of a steep hill and start from there!
Alright, couldn't help it, About the only thing you can do is adjust the governor but then you only get to go up to the rev limiter. Becareful with the filter change, if you don't compensate for the difference in air flow (rejetting) you could make it run worse. Your best bet is to just start searching the threads for all the info you can find on your Ideas. |

low speed idle cable adjustment ( black box ) gov. adjustment......be careful with both of these as mentioned you can make it run worse and with the gov. you can do engine damage............................
