Chargin Batteries With No Controller
I just got my new set of 2AWG wires and DPI charger for my 48V conversion. My question is my controller still hasn't come in and wont be here till Friday. The batteries have been sitting for about 2-3 weeks and haven't been connect yet. I would like to get a first charge on the pack. If i hook up all the wires to the batteries and just hook up the White and black wire from the charging receptacle and not the wires going from the pack to the controller can i charge the batteries?

Yes the dpi works independent of the controller.

Re: Chargin Batteries With No Controller
What they said. I have charged batteries out of the cart setup in a daisy chain with an extra harness plug..
