Oops, I just noticed I referred you the the pictures of motors on the chart Scotty posted and the one he posted didn't have pictures of motors on it.
Here is the one I thought was posted, showing the difference in the field (aka Stator) windings. ----------- The cart moves, but doesn't have much oomph, right? Monitor the pack voltage while driving cart. New batteries have been known to be bad. Also check if any cables or connections are getting hot. Monitor the voltage between M- and B+ terminals on controller. What is the voltage when pedal is on floor and cart is not moving the way you think it should. |

ok thanks hopefully i will have time to work on it this weekend we are adding a room addition on to our house as if my stress leval wasnt high enough this cart is driving me crazy, watch it will wind up being something simlpe. i will let you know what i find this weekend

my 1999 ezgo will go, its back up and running turns out it was the wrong motor. i just want to thank you guys for all your help i couldn't have done it without your help thanks again. i will post some pics of it soon.

Easy enough to mix up the early DCS motor and a series motor. THe difference being the DCS motor has smaller S1 and S2 terminal studs. On a series motor all 4 studs are the same diameter.
