97 EZGO electric golf cart motor oil leak issue
I have motor removed from cart and clip ring out. Trying to replace O'Ring. Can't see it? Does threaded shaft have to come out to get to it and how??
Thanks, des123 |

If your trying to change the O ring in the input shaft on the rear end ? If so. Yes you have to remove the input shaft to change the O ring Here's some pics http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/elect...tml#post662089 |

Re: 97 EZGO electric golf cart motor oil leak issue
I suggest Yamahas kit to kill this problem (works on every dana axle i have ever used it on). Part number 99999-JU2000. I use this for every leaky input shaft. Has a new bearing, new o-ring, and a "oil slinger" to keep oil from where it doesnt need to be. This seems to be the "10 year+ fix" to me. I have used it on many ezgos and parcars with the same good results. Costs about $65 to never deal with this problem again.
