The cart has worked perfect since the new controller was installed. The only thing is that the problem seemed to be weather (temperature) related and now it is warmer. I am confident it is fixed

you situation was similar to mine, so the controller was probably it. what size SPM did you get and can you tell a difference over what you had?

Old controller--Alltrax 4844/ 200A solenoid

New Controller--SPM 48400/ 400A solenoid

Cart does have quicker accelerations and a bit more speed.

The same 'size' SPM control has higher peak and sustain amperage outputs than the old generation AXE controls

The new SPM48400 compares close to the old AXE4855.

AXE 4855 = peak 500a, 5 minute sustained 350a, 60 min. sustained 250a
SPM48400 = peak 460a, 5 minute sustained 320a, 60 min. sustained 380a
The longer you run it the better it looks
