Re: What Tools do you Carry for the ride
I was reorganizing my "go bag" which I carry in my daily driver and on occasions when I think tools will be handy. Perfect picture opportunity.
IMG_20150410_160930029.jpg I had a smaller size Crescent wrench and a smaller flat head screwdriver in addition to these tools, but they seem to have grown legs and ran away. I need to find/replace these as they are handy and a necessity in the bag. What you can't see in the outer pockets on the front of the bag is: assorted zip-ties, tire air pressure gauge, some assorted wire and an alligator clipped test/jumper wire, and a folding knife that takes carpenter's knife blades. For cart riding, I'd add a cheap DVM and a can of fix-a flat and call it a day. How do I know this is sufficient? Because I rebuilt from the heads up on an Impala in a parking lot one day using just these very tools. Given that, I'm sure one could make it through a cart repair with the same stuff. Note: the blue case, motor mount, and hubcaps aren't part of the kit. |

Re: What Tools do you Carry for the ride
I wont leave home without this in tow! . This list is getting a little crazy! More Seriously tho, just a mini socket set, small vice-grips, zip ties, extra pocket knife, tire plug kit w/ co2 filler, and a small folding tree saw.

Re: What Tools do you Carry for the ride
Cell phone and neighbors with buggies. I have 4 spare tires in my crawl space. Never go more than 3 - 4 miles from home. I found a lug wrench on the side of the road that just happens to fit. More than that and I have a come-a-long and friends with trailers.

Re: What Tools do you Carry for the ride
Oh....and I almost forgot.....I put two small crescent wrenches in my tool bag. One is for american bolt sizes, and the other is for metric.
