Default Seat Cover Question ?

Well I am getting ready to purchase some black with yellow strip seat covers and curious on everyone input. I found some on ebay and they are around 130.00 bucks and are stapled on type. What ya'll think and what are some things I need to consider on install. Thanks

Use stainless steel staples...and I think Harbor Freight sells an inexpensive pneumatic stapler that would make installation much easier...

Definitely a pneumatic stapler. Other than that, no problem with that type of covers. I just put a set on mine. I would have had to go out of town to buy a pneumatic stapler so I tried an electric one that said it was for upholstery. It worked okay on the seat back cover but wasn't strong enough to get the staples in the seat bottom cover. Ended up switch to a hand staple gun and got it done but it was a lot of work.

There are some helpful how-to YouTube install videos out there that are helpful, even if you aren't using the same brand they are demonstrating.

I bought the harbor freight 20g air stapler. It takes regular t-50(?)
staples that you can get at the home depot cheap.
I started my seats today and it is working great!

Make sure they are straight before adding all of your staples. Some work from the inside out, some work from the outside in. Both work well IME. Also stretch, but don't overdo it...

Lay the covers out flat, in the sun and let them warm up before you attempt to put them on. They will soften and stretch much easier, allowing you to install with minimal creases and problems...
