Default Is it common for the studs to be too short after changing wheels.

I bought some 14" wheels for my 95 ezgo. When I put them on, the studs are just too short to be safe.

Will any parts store have this, or is it a specialty lug? I'm also having trouble getting the dust cap off. Any tips?

Yes you can get some at the auto parts store. It's just a pain trying to figure out which ones you need, there's so many different sizes. And they are not cheap. 3 0r 5 dollars a piece for the stud, then you need lug nuts

I say take a front hub, and a rear hub, with one stud poped out of each, with you to the auto parts store. The loose studs will help identify which ones you need, the hubs will verify what they are selling you will fit. BTW, all ezgo's use 1/2"-20 lug nuts (and stud threads).

Its kinda a pain, but that way its only gonna be one trip, and having to only make one trip is worth more than money. (because i live about 14 miles from a auto parts store and i prefer to stay out here).
