Re: Odd quirk after switching to DPI charger
I see the same. Anything else I have to do wiring wise in conjunction with removing it?

Re: Odd quirk after switching to DPI charger
You already did the other part which was running the negative from the charger receptacle directly to pack negative battery post.
You will need a new cable to go from pack negative to Controller B- if You remove the OBC as that cable is part of the OBC. |

Re: Odd quirk after switching to DPI charger
OK, so bottom line. White and blue together on the plug I pull from the OBC. Then new 10 gauge from batt #6 neg to B- on controller. Done. Just want to make sure I have my head around this correctly. Thanks again for all your help!

Re: Odd quirk after switching to DPI charger
The 10ga wire goes from charger receptacle to negative of battery #6.
The pack negative is 6ga from factory, but on a Sepex system like your DS IQ, I would replace it with a 4ga cable. Later if you upgrade the rest of the cables that one will be done already. The only thing I am not sure on your DS is if there are other 10ga wires crimped on the same 5/16 lug as the pack negative cable on the controller B- terminal. |
