98 DS reverse problem
I have a 98 DS model with 48 volt. I have almost new Trojan T875 batteries and 2 gauge wiring. With the batteries charged 50 to 100%, when you put it in reverse, it hesitates or refuses to go. Forward works perfect. After the batteries have drained down to less than half charge, the reverse works fine. Any suggestions as to what I need to look at? Thanks in advance. Yall are the best>

Not sure of the drive system. Basically a stock DS.

Re: 98 DS reverse problem
Does it have coils behind the batteries?
Just off the top I'm thinking FR switch contacts. Cable connections? |
