Bulging Trojan Batteries
Hey guys,
I just got a nice 2001 club car from CL with old Trojan batteries for $400 (great deal)....I'm wondering...I haven't tried charging yet, but pulled each battery out to clean the body/frame and visually inspect everything... Question is, the 6 batteries are old...2003/2004/2005...(guessing since I highly doubt they are 2013/2014/2015) Visually I'm looking at them and each has a noticeable bulges on the sides. Is this a visual sign that I shouldn't even try to charge? Thanks! Chris |

Re: Bulging Trojan Batteries
That is not unusual. You can try to charge them. Make sure they have water just above the plates.
