Default Is this a good set up?

I am getting ready to purchase a 6” lifted 2013 club cart precedent from King of Carts. The cart will be used around neighborhood, back roads with rolling hills and to pull a deer out of the woods. I having new Trojan – T-875 8-volt batteries put in before delivery. It is coming with stock motor and controller.

Once I get the cart I am thinking about upgrade with a D&D Motor (502:2), Alltrax XCT48500 controller, Solenoid Kit - 36/48 V - up to 650 Amp and all 4 AWG golf cart wire kit.

What do you think about this setup? Is there something better?

Thanks!

There's always something better.

The 4 gauge wires are marginal for 500 amp controller.. I'd go with 2 gauge.

Others will chime in. Enjoy and Welcome to BGW.

That motor has known problems with that control. I would use something else.
