Default Charger plug - which side is positive and negative

My new charger plug have arrived and i plan in process of restoring the charger port on the 1996 Medalist.

Previous owner clipped off all the wires and use a standard house hold plug to charge the battery.

On the charger plug, one side is flat and other side of curved.

Can anyone tell me which peg is positive side and which is the negative side on factory install?

Thank you
Bill

The straight or flat end is positive. The curved end is negative.

One other question

Did the wires from charger port go in front of the batteries (above F/R rod) to the + and - terminals or around the back of the batteries (toward rear of cart ) to the terminals ?

Or laid across the batteries itself?
