I installed the 48500, 2g cables, and sd contactor during the rebuild. I've got my cables, etc from Scotty to go to 48 but haven't purchased the batteries yet. I'm anxious to see where that may take me. Can I expect the 33% improvement in performance?

Hope I didn't hi jack the thread. I was going to pm Kernal but though his response may be useful to others that may be interested in upgrading and see this thread.
My cart is not typical and neither is yours. I think my experience would be misleading but may have some relevance for you. I will PM you....sometime.

You mean there's a choice? CART! The more money you throw at them, the better they perform, and they don't talk back.

The other "choice", the more money you throw at them, the more they want more.

JOKING.

Well this thread certainly took a turn... haha.. tonight I had family come over, me 190lbs.. brother 215lbs.. two 1.5 year olds a 6 year old and an 8 year old went cruising tonight.. I live in a large neighborhood that is full of hills, I must say my cart hauled us anywhere and everywhere we wanted to go for the hour-ish we rode.. so in this aspect my cart met and exceeded my expectations.

You make it sound like theres a point where the cart will cease to use more-and-more money. I don't believe that's 100% true. But, at least you get some choice where to stop.

Yeah, but if I put on purty wheels/tires, they're real. Botox, knives, lipo, and silicon just don't cut it.

FWIW, I love my wife, she loves me, and all the decades of battle-scars. We're over half-way done, and still are blessed with good health.
