Default Need help before purchase.

I am looking at a 2014 ez go 48v txt and they are asking $2,000? they are saying it has a factory lift, nice wheels and the folding rear seat? This a good deal? I am looking for something to modify (motor and others). I was originally thinking about a club car precedent 2013 48v but this just fell on my lap. Any thoughts on this model of car? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Not to hijack but Scottyb is the 48v txt a good cart for hills with a new controller? Is the motor strong enough to produce torque for good sized hills with family of 5 on it?

Either the seller doesn't know the value of their cart, or they're lying about the year or there might be something wrong with it. With out actually seeing all the features and knowing the age of the batteries, I'd say what you described would go for 4k-5k.

If you have access to the VIN number on the cart (located on the frame under the access panel, under the front seat or sometimes near the charger port/ steering column) There is a date code on the sticker under the seat, or you can put your VIN in this link and it'll tell you the year.
