Problem with 48-12v reducer
I am having an issue with a reducer I bought from scottyb, I have the positive and negative from the pack going to the red and black on the reducer. When I prob the green and black with my meter shouldnt I get 12v? I was trying to test functionality before I ran a bunch of wires.

Re: Problem with 48-12v reducer
you need a 48v trigger wire on the yellow wire
you can use a switch to main pack positive , the key switch , or direct wire to main pack positive i've got an ezgo diagram around here somewhere |

I forget the color wire, but you need to connect the "on" wire before the reducer will power up. I think it's yellow,

To keep the radio memory you will need to use the option #3 no switch so you always have 12v live

Re: Problem with 48-12v reducer
This won't cause any issues while charging? Last time I attempted this with an amazon reducer the thing literally melted down
