2013 Ezgo RXV will not charge

I am thinking I may have more than one problem.

The temp sensor is causing the problem. I need you to remove the temp sensor & do this test. First, Ohm test it normally across the 2 wires. Then, Ohm test to the ring terminal to each wire. There should be no testable connection between the ring terminal and either wire.

I tested the thermistor and between wires I get 10.6 kohm and between black wire and ring, 0 between white wire and ring, 10.4 kohm. Whe I got the part the black wire was covered with heat shrink like it wasnt supposed to be used. otherwise, why would they have it covered? The instructions doesnt show it being used in the picture I provided as well. I wonder if I was supposed to take the black wire under the grey original wiring and just put a lug on it and attach it to the battery then only use the white wire with the terminal pre installed. It doesnt make sense!!! That being said, I have ordered a whole new plug assy just in case.

Also, should this be going to the positive or negative terminal? The original goes to the positive.

Got my new charge receptacle installed and she seems to be working fine. No faults as of yet. I will know for sure in the morning. Thanks for the help.

The temp sensor actually could be put on any battery terminal of the whole pack. It sends no power to the port. The port seeks a resistance across the two small wires, not any voltage from the terminal it is placed on. Any voltage from the terminal it's on is actually a terrible thing that will only screw the process up. It's just a metal ring to detect the temp of the thing it is touching, not to send a voltage signal.

After talking with the manufacturer, they had sent me the wrong thermistor so it wasnt going to work. Either way I am glad I got it going. Thanks again.
