Default Replacing battery cables and other wires.

Hey everybody new to the site and was wondering.....i just picked up a 1987 ezgo marathon and I'm getting ready here soon to replace the batteries but I need to replace all the cables and wires also. So the question is can I go to auto parts store and have cables made up or is there a difference in automotive cables vs golf cart cables.
Thanks guys

If you are talking about the battery cables and motor cables, they are better when made from welding cable. The wire strands are finer and make them easier to bend. A good auto parts store that has a machine shop will be able to do it. Welding supply can do it too. Or, go to one of the site sponsors and order up a pre-made set. They help keep the lights on this place and offer great, free advice.

Gregorio's right. Scottyb's cables are top notch. Are there cheaper ones out there? The answer is yes but, you get what you pay for. Scottyb stands behind all of his products.

Still, give Scottyb a shout... He makes his cables to specific lengths.

With him being the "agreeable" type of guy ( he helped me immeasurably), I'm pretty sure he can "fix you up" in no time !!!
