It would most definitely bring more heat. How did you manage to change the motor cables? They are welded to the motor windings inside the motor.

Sorry didn't mean motor cables. Changed out all the battery cables to 2gauge.

Yes it will. Like anything, how much depends upon how far you push it and the air temparature where you are. If you give it enough time to cool down when it warms up, you'll be able to prevent it from slowing down on you to cool off. The controller will cut back on power if either the controller or the motor gets gets too warm. The RXV has a temperature sensor in the motor windings, it would be nice if someone made an inexpensive display that could read that parameter. I've used my handset for watching that when I was testing and making high speed passes.

So the 2guage cables are allowing the same power to flow more efficiently to the controller. Assuming also that the 2guage cables will cause less heat buildup because of the increased space to move.

Does the 1313 handset just plug into a usb on ezgo? What kind of menu comes up? Is tweaking the system pretty straight forward? What is the cost of a 1313? Anyone in the Ocala Fl area have one? My question day.

No, it plugs into a 4 pin E-Z-GO specific connector. The 1313 handset requires an adapter cable to connect to it. Even the OEM 1313-4401 handset is limited in what parameters you can access to adjust. The tweaks you're gonna want to make are beyond the abilities of any handset.
