Re: Rxv gear vs tire size questions
So if I decide to convert my cart over to Curtis later in life I'm looking around $600 for the controller and harness?

Re: Rxv gear vs tire size questions
Sorry to keep asking the same question but the eBay auction is over in a couple hours and I don't want to miss out if that is a great deal?

Re: Rxv gear vs tire size questions
Yea, you'll want to get it while you can... prices will only go up as those upgrade kits get rarer. E-Z-GO sold a bunch of them off on auction last year to a wholesaler. They were as low as $300 when the market was flooded, then they went to $600. E-Z-GO sells them for over $1000.

Re: Rxv gear vs tire size questions
Is this the controller that everyone is running that they can reprogram to get 30 plus mph?

Re: Rxv gear vs tire size questions
Looks like a good deal to me. You'll have to splice a couple of wires on this conversion. You will use your wiring harness you have now on this conversion also.

Re: Rxv gear vs tire size questions
Okay guys I went ahead and bought the Curtis speed controller conversion on eBay.
Will I need to send the controller somewhere to have it program for high-speed? Also how big of a pain in the butt is it to do the conversion? |

Re: Rxv gear vs tire size questions
I'm not sure if there is any local companies that can reprogram the Curtis around me? And if there is normally they only turn them up to 19.5 mph.
Is there a member on here where I could send the controller to them for programming? And with the new controller maxed out what kind of speeds am I looking at |
