Trun Signal/Brake Light Control and Harness?

Hi again. 2012 RXV, headlights have 2 sets of wires that come out of the main light and side/turn sig lamps. Only the main lamps light with headlight. Rear lights have 3 wires, remain semi-lit, no brake light. If I've been reading right, these can be made to function as turn sigs and brake lights. Do I just need the steering column controller and the correct harness? Is the harness an EZGO product? Thanks!

The level of difficulty depends on who's light kit is on there. Is it from Ezgo, or a copy. Remove the cupholders and snap a pic of the wires there and I can give better answers.

I dug into the dash, and the prior owner installed what appears to be a headlight/tail light kit that he wired to a toggle on the front.

The headlamp looks like this:

The side LEDs on the front headlamp are wired to the connector but do not function when the headlight is on.

The lights appear to be powered by a 12V reducer in the battery well.

I found the purple connector and an unused red connector.

The space behind the dash is a wired mess that needs tidying, so I'm not sure what to photograph, but I'll give it a try. Bear with me while I make it presentable.
